Sunday 27th May 2018 to Thursday 31st May 2018 (4 nights)
Meet on the Sunday from 09.00 at the Runnymede Pleasure Ground Cafe, Egham, Surrey, TW20 0AE. LINK
We'll leave promptly at 09.30 onto the M25 and then stop for a breakfast break at the Newport Pagnell Services on the M1.
I have mapped out a ride each day:
One taking in Snake Pass and other interesting roads – approx. 65 miles.
One to Castleton, stopping off at either The Blue John Mine or Speed Well Cavern then continuing on to Bakewell for lunch (+ Tarts)! Approx. 70 miles.
One on one of ‘the most dangerous’? Roads in Britain (A537) past The Cat & Fiddle Pub which is the second highest pub in England – approx. 40 miles.
This is a Bank Holiday weekend and Buxton also has a ‘festival’ on so the Hotel prices are £117 per night excluding breakfast, thus, we will meet in the mornings at Wetherspoons (under 1 mile down road) for breakfast then continue on ride-outs from there.
The roads are ‘Bikers Paradise’ with some lovely views for pillions!!
