HARLEY DAY @ SAMMY MILLER MUSEUM & BASHLEY MANOR TEA ROOMS
We will meet at the Burger King in Ladymead Retail Park (GU1 1AJ) in Guildford from 0830hrs. We will depart at 0900hrs and ride direct to the museum via the A3, A31, M3, A31 and ride through part of the forest. Our route should avoid the expected traffic congestion around Lyndhurst.
SCUK and many other local Harley clubs have been invited to this Special day at the world renown motorcycle museum located in the beautiful New Forest. The museum holds over 400 of the world's rarest bikes. Sammy is a motorcycling legend, 11 times British Champion and winner of over 1400 events. The day will be basically a Ride-in with a BBQ and prizes for certain categories of bikes.
This will be a fantastic opportunity to view hundreds of different Harleys and meet Sammy and of course many other Harley enthusiasts.
Bashley Manor Tea Rooms, in the same complex, will provide the BBQ, award winning cakes and other refreshments.
Once you have had your fill of Harleys and cakes etc etc you will be free to leave. To avoid conjestion in Lyndhurst the best route back to the M3/M27 is shown below. Martin Withers.
