Sussex Weald & Downland Museum

Please note: tickets have to be pre-booked at £14 each (£13 for over 60’s). I anticipate that we will get there for about 12 noon so members should book an entry slot for 12.15/12.30pm. Those that do not wish to visit can come along for the ride and then go on to the coast, Goodwood etc.

Being a property man what could be more fitting than to lead a ride to the Sussex Weald & Downland museum. It is a fascinating place with reconstructed homes through the ages. Have a look at the website (link above) to get a flavour for the place. An added bonus is that it is situated in the beautiful Sussex countryside, just a stones throw from Goodwood, which we could include for a tea stop on the way back, time and date allowing.

Meet at Newlands Corner at 10am for a 10.30am departure. A leisurely and pretty country ride, which will take about 1.5 hours. 50 miles. After a good look round, those that wish to make their way home are welcome and for the those that wish to make a day of it, we will ride onto Goodwood, for tea and buns. The home run will be more direct on A-roads.
