Surrey Chapter UK - Constitution from 6 November 2025

1. The Director will be a rider or ex-rider who has been a member for at least one year. After they have been in office for two years, or if they wish to stand down earlier, nominations will be invited for their successor. Should more than one person apply the membership will vote on their preference.

2. The Director shall appoint a Senior Road Captain and Treasurer and the three will form the Management Team (MT). The Director may also appoint others to the MT to assist in the efficient operation of the Chapter.

3. The Senior Road Captain (SRC) will have been a member of the Road Crew (RC) for at least one year. They will invite and consider applications to join the RC and keep RC training, equipment and records up to date.

4. The Treasurer will maintain accurate spending, income and membership records and advise the MT on the status of the finances and prepare a statement for publication before an AGM or EGM.

5. The MT will ensure the club provides a variety of rides, trips away and social events.

6. The MT will publish such rules, guidance and information as necessary to ensure the efficient operation of the Chapter for the benefit of the members.

7. The MT may ask members to assist in the operation of the Chapter such as with running social events, organising rides and operating communication channels without them having to join the MT.
